The video "Formulations about the emotional world,
money and work" was made by Paulo Baroukh (see site)
for Interpsic-Centro Interdisciplinar em Psicologia Social,
Institucional e Comunitária, that sponsored the
lecture of same name presented by me on 12.15.99. It is about
one hour long, and offers a summarized exposition of the ideas
found in my dissertation ("The
Emotional Component - mental functioning and illusion at the
light of economic transformations in Brazil since 1985")
in rather informal language - unfortunately though, only in
Portuguese. It also deals with issues that have arisen from
my experience as a consultant - with the consultancy named,
after Bion, "How can you make
the best of a bad job?" - in the field composed
of the intersection between Psychoanalysis, Economic Psychology
and the new tendencies found in the world of work nowadays.
